About us

A refuge at the edge of the Danube Delta Biosphere.

Stillness that lives.

In the village of Vadu, where roads still gather dust in summer and stillness carries the sounds of animals, we created a place that keeps us close to nature. Not the idea of nature, but its living, wild, untamed presence. It is called Amurg | glamping&pool and it is our refuge, built with our own hands, in the heart of a village still authentic, just 20 minutes by car from Vadu beach—a place for those who love the wild sea. The photos show a serene place, perhaps even torn from a dream. But what you cannot see is that around this calm, weeds grow, spiders weave their webs undisturbed, village dogs bark, jackals call from the reserve and, sometimes, if you stay still, you may make out the distant rumble of waves or the sound of wild horses running through the reeds. Above, cormorants in flight. Amurg is about closeness. About retreat. About people gathering: families, friends, retreats or small team buildings, far from offices and the city. It is a space designed for meaningful gatherings and moments lived differently. It is stillness, but not dead stillness. It is a stillness that lives, that moves with the wind, with the animals, with nature. We built this place so we could stay here. And now we open it to others who seek the same: a real place, without pretence.
